Funding
CCA Ltd is a Limited Company by Guarantee setup by Craufurdland Estate as a Non-Profit body.
The aims of CCA
- To provide better access and facilities on Craufurdland Estate for the local community.
- To promote healthier lifestyle through improved outdoor activities for the participation of all.
To promote Craufurdland Estate to a wider audience and attract visitors to the Estate and the area.
The activities of CCA
- CCA will manage facilities that are created on the estate.
- CCA management will be by a board of directors made up of local interested people along with a Director from Craufurdland Estate.
- Providing funding can be secured, it is hoped a Ranger will be able to be available to carryout day to day maintenance and be active in educational projects for children.
CCA on Craufurdland Estate
CCA will have a lease from Craufurdland Estate for a nominal sum for the areas and paths they use.
Funding
Whilst as a non-profit organization, CCA should be able to secure public funding (e.g. Lottery, EU, NHS), Craufurdland Estate intend to provide funding, and CCA will seek corporate sponsorship.
