• Deed of Gift: Recieved from Mary Queen of Scots, 26th Dec 1561. Recieved from Mary Queeen of Scots a gift of the ward of the lands of Reidhall, lying within the Stewartry of Annandale; the deed of gift, having the Queen';s signature attached to it, is in Possession of the Family
