Our Castle

Experience the unique charm of staying in Craufurdland Castle, a historic home that has been part of the Craufurd family for nearly 800 years. As a ‘semi-detached castle’, we — Simon and Adity Houison Craufurd, along with our daughters Indra and Manisha — live next door in the Laird’s House, so the Castle remains a much-loved and living family home.

Explore the rooms, uncover their stories, and discover the history of the ancestors they are named after. Beyond the Castle walls, the estate offers plenty to enjoy, from dining at The Laird’s Table and adventures at Tree Top Trials, to woodland walks, Craufurdland Fishery.

Whether gathering with loved ones, marking a special occasion, or simply taking time to enjoy the countryside, Craufurdland Castle offers a memorable place to relax, reconnect, and make your own stories within its historic walls.
