5 star review  Loved our lunch here today! Beautiful 15min walk on the Snowdrop trail from Fenwick village.. location is stunning at edge of wee loch, very relaxing. Food was great, we enjoyed trying the fishy deli board & all-day breakfast...and those cakes! Great to see the place taking shape, and the history of the estate, local produce & an interesting menu. can’t wait to try it out for dinner! Wishing you good luck & a great first summer!

  • negative review  This was our first time eating here, we went on Sunday 3/3/19 with 2 adults and 2 children . The service was very slow and poor to be honest apart from 1 young girl. They had run out of chocolate ice cream firstly then when we asked what selection of cakes they had the answer was none they had ran out and it wasn’t busy. The children ate off the kids menu and this included 1 scoop of ice cream. The kids were still hungry so the waitress said about a 3 scoop portion which we paid £2:50 per 1/2 scoop (not even a full scoop) £10 total for 4 half scoops of ice cream. My parter ordered a chocolate brownie for Dessert and about 15 mins after the kids had finished their dessert and I had finished a coffee the server came up and advised we couldn’t have the brownie due to running out of stuff . We asked for the bill and my partner didn’t get a dessert. The bill still didn’t come so we had to go up and just pay at the door. The food was really nice but overall experience was poor and £10 for four half scoops of ice cream I thought was a bit extreme.

positive review  Decided to try The Laird's Table today for lunch based on the reviews we had read and we were not disappointed. We all agreed (party of 5) that this is one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Outstanding quality food (I would highly recommend the festive 3 course option) and at £19.95 amazing value! The relaxed atmosphere, lovely service and the stunning setting were the icing on the cake. Even left with a stunning red wine for Christmas Day on recommendation. keep doing what you are doing guys, can't wait to return......
