Where else can you enjoy the tranquillity of a private loch, from the warmth of a modern Scottish restaurant?
At The Laird’s Table, our relaxed dining café/restaurant, you can sample the finest fresh food, locally sourced and impeccably cooked, with an uninterrupted view over the Ayrshire countryside.
Our regularly changing menu reflects the best of the season’s produce, designed into delicious, original dishes by our Head Chef Gareth Furey and his team.
The children’s menu has been developed to offer good quality food that kids will love, and parents will be happy to order.
The car park is for customers only – Laird’s Table, Take Away and Craufurdland activities including the fishery. Please do not use the car park as a public car park – it is a private car park for the businesses based on the Estate. The estate is a private working farming estate.
Ghilli’s Café/ Activity centre reception welcomes our Canine friends, where owners can dine from the Laird’s Table Menu. As you know Craufurdland is renowned for its mud, so keeping this in mind, this area has been specifically furnished to ensure we can clean and maintain a high level of hygiene at all times.
The outside tables in the patio area are table service only. We do not take bookings for outside tables, it’s on a first-come-first-served basis.
The big round table and the picnic benches in the car park area are reserved for our takeaway customers wishing to eat on the estate and enjoy the view of The Loch.

So much to love about this place. The location and outlook is stunning. The environmental credentials. The staff are friendly & helpful. The food is to die for, and so much interesting bits and bobs from the castle we feel we’ve been there and got a taste of the history of it all, and finally don’t get me started on the fabulous dinning tables what a talking point. Look forward to going back again

Cheeky preview of the Laird's Table today and have to say it's looking great and if today's food was just for starters we'll definitely be back for more!

Impromptu first visit yesterday for a light lunch. We were lucky to get a space and we took a "sharing" table. Drinks served quickly and 10 mins after that a couple were seated next to us. After about 20 minutes the waitress approached our table and took a food order for the couple who had arrived after us. She did immediately take our food order after that so fair enough I thought. However.. the couple ordered cooked main meals and we ordered a sandwich and panini. We waited almost 30 minutes after ordering for our food and in that time the couple next to us were nearly finished their mains. I did query if we'd been forgotten about but got a very quick, sharp "no, it's just coming, there's only two of them in the kitchen" A little disappointed if I'm honest at that response considering it was sandwiches we ordered. The food that we did have was just ok, nothing special despite the cost of £25 for two sandwiches a kids picnic plate and three drinks. All that said, I would recommend a visit and we will come back to give it another chance for dinner or to try the full lunch menu. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the view lovely.

Fantastic new year dinner for my mother in laws birthday. The menu was brilliant and everyone’s meals were fantastic. My 2 year old son also has a milk intolerance and the restaurant couldn’t have been more accommodating. Was out first visit but will definitely be visiting again really soon
